Ultimate Genshin Impact Lumitoile Farming Guide - All Fontaine 4.1 Spots! 🌟

Hey Travelers! Fontaine's 4.1 update dropped and brought us these adorable little star-shaped creatures called Lumitoiles. Seriously, they're like the ocean's little night lights! ✨ But here's the tea - finding them all can be a bit of a scavenger hunt. Don't worry though, I've spent way too much time swimming around (my character probably has pruney fingers by now) and mapped out EVERY single location for you. Let's dive in!

Marcotte Station Northwest Shore 🏖️

Okay, first stop! Teleport to Marcotte Station waypoint and head northwest toward the water. You'll pass a Hilichurl camp (just wave hello and keep moving 👋). Keep following that shoreline northwest, and you'll eventually spot a row of Lumitoiles just chilling on the beach, partially submerged. They're spaced out a bit, so take your time!

Quick checklist for this area:

• Start at Marcotte Station waypoint

• Head northwest along shore

• Pass Hilichurl camp

• Find row of Lumitoiles slightly apart

• All are right on shore, partially in water

Central Laboratory Ruins Area 🧪

This one's a two-parter! Teleport to the easternmost waypoint in this area, right on the shore. Cross the shallow water to the other side and head northwest along that shore. You'll find FOUR Lumitoiles here, all spaced out. Now for the fifth one - cross back diagonally southwest from your last pickup. You'll find it right next to a wrecked ship buried in the sand. Talk about beach treasure! 🏴‍☠️

Mont Esus East - The Main Event! 🏝️

This area is PACKED with Lumitoiles, both above and below water. Let's break it down:

Above Water Collection

1. Teleport to Mont Esus East waypoint

2. Head north to the Fatui tent (you'll see it on your map)

3. Go south along the shore - you'll find four Lumitoiles

4. Keep heading south to three little islets

5. First Lumitoile on your starting shore

6. Second and third on the opposite islets

7. Fourth one west of last location

8. Fifth on the edge of smallest islet

Underwater Bonanza! 🤿

Now the real fun begins - diving time! From Mont Esus East, head east into deeper water until you can dive. You'll see a cave entrance, but ignore it for now and keep swimming east underwater.

Phase 1 - Cave Area:

• Two Lumitoiles near cave entrance

• Swim north for third one

• Continue north to find wide pipe with Ousia block

• Lumitoile at pipe base where it enters ground

• Swim down cliff side: two Lumitoiles on another pipe

Phase 2 - Big Structure:

⚠️ Watch out for sweeping lights! You can deactivate them by swimming behind the lamps.

Six Lumitoiles scattered here:

1. By a lamp

2. Under same lamp on bottom level

3. On sand by pipe

4. On top of nearby pipe

5. On pipe edge near surface

6. On big gear

Phase 3 - Southwest Pipes:

From the area's waypoint, swim southwest:

• Three Lumitoiles on nearest pipe (different heights!)

• First two near base/floor

• Third on top near surface

• Continue south: Lumitoile hidden in seagrass (easy to miss!)

• Next set of pipes: two Lumitoiles, one on each pipe

Phase 4 - Eastern Exploration:

Return to waypoint, head east:

• Lumitoile on pipe top

• Another east by three Underwater Survey Meks

Phase 5 - Zigzag Route:

• Northwest to pipe by cavern entrance: Lumitoile at bottom

• Northeast to another pipe: two Lumitoiles (side and vault entrance)

• Northwest toward shore: two Lumitoiles on rock near surface

New Fontaine Research Institute Area 🔬

Starting at the map's eastern edge, east of the pier:

• Two Lumitoiles by broken pipes in sand

• Head west along shore

• Lumitoile before Waverider Waypoint

• Continue northwest along shoreline

• One in sand near Teleport Waypoint

• Another right below it

• Cross to rock in front of Waypoint (next to Water Volume Detection Crystal)

• South into water: Lumitoile by rock

• Return shore northwest: another in sand

• Follow sand path: EIGHT more Lumitoiles! 🎉

• South then west past bridge ruins: three more

• Further west: last two by small ruin with stabilizer

Submerged Stony Path - The Hidden Gem! 💎

This is a sneaky underwater area. Easiest access is through the Millennial Pearl Seahorse cave. Teleport there and head southwest to a small water pool - diving here takes you right to the path!

Collection Route:

• Two Lumitoiles along the way

• Surface near waterfall: three more (climb up!)

• Climb platform, head southeast

• Two on platform

• Dive ahead: one more surrounded by Clockwork Meka and Pneuma Block

Bonus Round:

Return to waypoint, climb platform again, but this time go left:

• Lumitoile on big gear

• Dive: find another

• Swim further: third one

Puzzle Time! 🧩

You'll need to solve a gate puzzle:

1. Borrow Xenochromatic Aberrant ability

2. Throw bomb at switch (explodes when you tap ability again)

3. Cross first gate

4. When first closes and second opens, swim through

5. Claim final two Lumitoiles in other chamber

Pro Tips for Efficient Farming 🌟

1. Bring a Hydro character - obviously helps with underwater exploration!

2. Use food buffs for swimming stamina

3. Mark your map as you collect

4. Respawn timer is 48 hours - plan your routes!

5. Team up with friends to cover more ground
